  • Matthew Martin White was born in 1986 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada; the son of Sandra Louise Glaneuski White and Francis White.

  • He graduated from Sydney Academy High
    School in Sydney, Nova Scotia in 2004 with International Baccalaureate certificates in English, History, and Economics.

    Matthew went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts at
    Cape Breton University in 2006 majoring in Victorian Literature, and minoring in
    Canadian History.

    Matthew then sought and received a Bachelor of
    Intermediate/Secondary Education from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2007.

    Matthew continued his university education by receiving a Master of Education in Instructional Design at the
    University of New Brunswick at Fredericton in late 2008.


  • Matthew has published numerous
    editorials that appear in student newspapers throughout the country – the most notable
    being the Caper Times of Cape Breton University, as well as conference presentations and papers relating to his Master's Thesis work.

Matthew is currently a Ph.D. Student at Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John's Campus, Newfoundland, Canada.
